The structure on the hill refers to the experience of nature from the Romantic era. The shape is derived from the "rest sign" (fermate) in music. In the base of the structure is the text "PER ASPERA AD ASTRA", which means "Through the difficulties to the stars". The rectangular recesses in the metal correspond to the first notes of Beethoven's 'Fifth Symphony'.
