If you go up from Albatera, the pass is approximately 11 km long with a gentle slope for the first few kilometers but increasing until reaching the last 2.5 km, being very hard with ramps greater than 15%. During the route and before the hard zone, there are two short downhill sections that allow you to recover your legs.
