On the road between Setzelbach and Geisa, a wonderful view of the Hessian skittles opens up on one side, an arrangement of conical volcanic mountains in the northwest of the Rhön. The iron fence that divided the Federal Republic from the GDR once ran across the other side. A former watchtower commemorates this German-German division.
