The depot is a historic brick building from the mid-19th century. It was part of the Fähndrich brewery, which at that time stood on the property at Breite Straße 12-13, which reached to the Nuthe. It was demolished as a ruin before the remains of the building were placed under monument protection in 1994. The coach house on the former courtyard side has been preserved.
