March cups are considered true heralds of spring. They are not only beautiful to look at, but are also considered to be "particularly protected" under the "Federal Nature Conservation Act".
In the district of Neustadt/Aisch-Bad Windsheim, the plant only occurs in large stocks at two locations. One is in a forest near Vorderpfeinach (district of Uffenheim), the second is near Markt Bibart.
You can park in a small parking lot. After just a few hundred meters you have reached the white sea of blossoms in the forest. Thousands of March cups are spread out like on a carpet - beautiful.
