The predecessor of the current chapel was built in 1518.
In 1872 the chapel was deemed too large and was demolished. Its bricks were used to build the current chapel, designed by P.J. Soffers. A bell tower has been built into the facade, in which hangs a bell cast in 1756. The interior of the building contains a Marian altar and several stained glass windows depicting episodes from the life of Saint Hubert.
