The Julienne is a Belgian stream flowing in the province of Liège, a tributary of the Meuse on the right bank.
It has its source in Retinne, then crosses the town of Saive, watering the foot of the old castle there. It passes in the bottom of Légipont, then under the E40 motorway and enters a small, partly wooded, rural valley; it forms the Julienne ponds before flowing into the Meuse at Argenteau.
The name evokes Sainte-Julienne de Cornillon, born in Retinne in 1192.
The valley hosts tombs sealing old mining shafts, including the wells of the Société anonyme des Charbonnages d'Argenteau near the ponds, and further upstream the well of the cows, which depended on the Société anonyme des Charbonnages des Quatre-Jean.
