Beautiful Salt Lake just a short walk/run from Mac Kenzie Beach.
In Winter you will be able to watch a lot of Flamingos.
It is possible to hike or run all around the lake too.

Please be aware: The Lake is nature protected area! It is NOT allowed to walk or drive on the lake/shorefront. Not when it is dry or wet. A salt lake environment is very sensitive - microorganisms, tiny plants, etc. Sadly there are not enough signs telling people it is not allowed, so you will see a lot of people walking or even biking around. There are a lot of paths, going very close to the lake, so there is no need to walk directly on the lake.
