The tunnel is a legally protected biotope under the Federal Nature Conservation Act. In the tunnel and the control passage there are 100 bats that must not be disturbed. Entering the tunnel is prohibited at least during the bat protection period (October 1 to March 31). I ask for attention!

Bad stretch of road before in and after the tunnel, partly overgrown. 2 km only thick gravel road. Tunnel only accessible with a flashlight. The rest of the hike is very beautiful.
