The Elsper parish church is a Romanesque to early Gothic building. Unfortunately, nothing is known about when construction began on the Elsper church. However, it is assumed that a place of worship could have existed at the site as early as the year 1000.
The Miraculous Cross inside the church is particularly worth seeing. The body of this large crucifix dates from the 10th century, the cross is dated around 1175.translated by
