The Sandleitenhof is a communal residential complex in the 16th district of Vienna, Ottakring, which was historically considered a typical working-class district. The building, which was built in 5 construction phases between 1924 and 1929, is considered to be the largest community building in Red Vienna in the interwar period with 1,587 apartments and over 4,000 residents (originally over 5,000).
