Please check local regulations for: Chilterns National Landscape
There are many prehistoric bank and ditch earthworks in the Chiltern's region, and many share the name Grim's Ditch or Grim's Dyke. This one is thought to have been a border between Iron Age kingdoms and runs for 5 straight miles (8 km) from Mongewell on the River Thames to Nuffield on the Chiltern escarpment. Today, the Ridgeway National Trail makes good use of it.
