Hardtail Rick 🎗️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

A little bit about me. I got back into cycling while furloughed. It all started in my living room on an exercise bike! Those were strange dark days dealing with isolation, but that bike started a new beginning, brought some sanity back into my life and encouraged me to pump up those flat tyres on my old hard Tail. I ventured out and a new flame had been lit which pushed me forward and led me on a new path in my life 🚴‍♂️
I started to meet other cyclists and the rides expanded and with my newly gained enthusiasm came weight loss, improved fitness and improved mental health !
I met up up with an an old work mate from years gone by. He was already a keen cyclist and our friendship grew as did our mountain bike adventures......

Wolvercote to Banbury round trip 🚴🏻‍♂️

Probably pay to wear arm coverings especially if you are a tall rider. My arms got cut to bits from the thorny brambles and rough branches. Because of path erosion, bank failure, holes etc much concentration is needed or you'll be going for a swim. Approx 5 miles before Banbury…
