The quarry hiking trail leads through six quarries (Lenks-Bruch, Alberts-Bruch, Schoberts-Bruch (Steinhauerhütte), Geyers-Bruch, Blauer Bruch, Schloßbrunnen-Bruch) and provides information about previous granite work with the help of information boards, the length is about 3. 5 km. The hiking trail, also suitable for cycling, leads past old walls and large tailings to six quarries, a powder chamber, a protective shelter and a loading ramp at the foot of the Epprechtstein. Information boards at the individual stations familiarize hikers with the creation of granite, its extraction, processing and transport. Blue granite has been found here at the Blauer Bruch, which lacks the limonite coloring - in German: rust or brown iron ore or brown iron stone coloring. fichtelgebirge-oberfranken.de/sabine/Steinbruchwanderweg.htm

Very mystical place, a well abandoned (at least rarely visited) part of a quarry. Be careful when exploring, the paths are partially overgrown. Exciting.
