St. Matthew's Church is a Grade II listed building on Church Hill, Midgham.
It was built in 1869 on commission from Mr. Benjamin Buck Greene, the owner of Midgham Park, to replace the Chapel of Ease to Thatcham church that was located in the grounds of Midgham House.
The architect was John Johnson who built it in a Neo-Gothic style, all interior fittings are 19th century.
