I've done it on a mountain bike and a gravel bike. Its easily doable on a gravel bike but is certainly a lot more fun on the MTB. Its best done early morning as it gets busy with walkers. The path is through trees next to the sea and is super scenic. A couple of next beaches at the end for a swim. The path is easy and so super fun at night with lights.
