Here you have a great view of the Weisshorn. His counterpart is called Schwarzhorn, this naming was not without reason. While the white horn is made up of white sarldolomite, the redhorn-gray Bozen quartz porphyry is found on the black horn. The reason for this is a geological fault that runs exactly between the two mountain peaks. From here you can also see the Bletterbachtal. In the lower part, the Bletterbach gorge, also known as the "Grand Canyon of South Tyrol", was formed here. The "Geoparc Bletterbach" is impressive and definitely worth exploring without a bike.

From this balcony, a view of the Bletterbach canyon is always worth a stop.
