The bird and animal trail was installed in 2000 by the 9th grade of the Kraichgauschule Eppingen in collaboration with the I.G. Jägersee.
In 2003, the information boards were completely redesigned.
On 30 information boards with pictures along the lake path around the Jägersee, the diverse, colorful local bird and animal world is described in detail for nature and bird lovers.
Everything that crawls and flies around the Jägersee is documented in detail on the information boards and accompanied by colorful pictures.
On the information boards you can find all information such as the Latin name, the animal species, the order, the habitat, nesting site, breeding season and food.
