The Iglesia Nuestra Señora de Loreto was consecrated in 1967. Cement and iron in particular were used in its construction.
The wooden roof, made of red pine wood, represents the keel of a fishing boat. The light that falls under the "ship's ceiling" through the many small windows into the interior is very nice to look at.
The 12 bearers that can be seen outside the church embody the 12 apostles.
The church is open (as of 2022) from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., in summer even until 9:00 p.m.

This Marian shrine did not receive its name and patronage from one of the many people who are venerated as saints. LORETO is an internationally known Marian pilgrimage site in central Italy, Marche region. However, the place did not become famous because of apparitions of the Mother of God, such as "Lourdes" (1858) in the French Pyrenees or "Fatima" (1917) in Portugal.
The tradition of Marian veneration in Loreto goes back much further: a building that is considered to be the childhood home of Mary in Nazareth has been venerated there since the end of the 13th century. According to legend, angels brought the so-called "SANTA CASA" from Israel - with a few stops along the way - here. The shrine of Loreto, which serves as the model for the chapel listed here, can be found in the komoot system under the following link:
