About Daniel

Today I hiked from Niederntudorf to Wewelsburg. Luckily it didn't rain and most of the paths were dry. On the way there is a great resting place with a view of the Wewelsburg. There is a lot to discover at the Wewelsburg (if Corona allows it again) such as the castle garden, where many herbs are grown. I love herbs! Otherwise the permanent exhibition "Ideology and Terror of the SS", which is otherwise very interesting, was unfortunately closed. On the way back I passed the former SS shooting range and many other beautiful places. It was definitely worth it 😊

Since my little Flizer had to be repaired, I took a round through Geseke. I used to be here quite often because my grandma and grandpa lived here. I don't even remember that Geseke is so beautiful. The waiting time was definitely worth it 😊.

Those who planned this tour do not like hiking trails. 😂 Somehow I just hiked 50% of the way through the wilderness, which was very nice but also very muddy. The beginning started out very exhausting. The first 2 kilometers only went up and down which was very exhausting for me. The highest point was about 430m at the starting point of 230m. The tour still had a lot to offer, from two caves, where one looked inhabited 🙄😁 to an abandoned courtyard that was simply in nature and a quarry where people have come together to have no idea what to do 😂. Overall, I can definitely recommend the tour.

Somehow the tour didn't go as I imagined it would. I wanted to make a few changes to the tour during the hike and suddenly the tour was gone. So I went by feeling but it wasn't that tingling. Many asphalt roads and longer stretches along the main road. At least I got back to my car and I'm still happy about the 14km. 😊

Today's tour is definitely one of my most beautiful hikes so far. I'm still so flashed by the Scottish highland cattle that you can experience up close, that I don't even know what to write anymore! 😂 Just look at the photos 😉

Today I was in the harrow again in sunny weather. Well, I have to honestly say, I've never seen so much wild garlic on the track ... Unbelievable 😊. For that reason alone, many have been there. I had them picked and hiked on to the limestone quarry, where there is an impressive ruin. A little further then two quarries that were very impressive. Further along a stream that was very natural. At the end it went up again crisply to 430m, where you later have a wonderful view of the Höhrnkamm der Egge with Prussian and Lippischer Velmerstot. That's it for today

Today I hiked from Hövelhof through the Senne and the first part to the Emsquellen was new to me. I made an interesting discovery there, but you probably already know it. After about 4-5 km I hiked under a bridge and there the artist Volker Mersch exhibited paintings from the Senne made of oil paints. I found the place so cool and the pictures are impressive in my opinion. It is definitely worth it. There you can also enter yourself in a guest book, which can be found there. Otherwise the hike was again pure nature. Nice weekend to all of you.
