Best Hiking Routes to Böser-Tritt-Steig
Tips
  • If you want to save the money for the gondola lift and are good on foot, we recommend the climb over the Bösen-Tritt-Steig. This alpine path requires surefootedness and a certain amount of head for heights.
In the middle part, the climb is at risk of falling rocks. There are wire ropes attached to some passages, but they are not really needed.
A waterfall is crossed on the way up.
It takes about 60-75 minutes to reach Lünersee. On the descent, the climb can be mastered in about 45 minutes.

  • The name "bad kick" reads worse than it is! No problem for experienced hikers.

  • The climb sounds worse than it is. In June it was easy to pass, especially since steel cables provide helpful support.

  • Berg demands a lot of sure-footedness. A great stretch of road up and down

  • Nice steep, easy to reach path with insured passages. Overall, however, not particularly demanding.
Unfortunately often very crowded, so start as early as possible on the weekend.

  • A nice climb. The lower part is relatively easy to walk. The upper part a little more demanding. Many parts are exposed and secured with steel cables.

  • The "bad kick" really isn't all that bad. When going downhill, it sometimes requires some surefootedness due to the gravelly ground ... but otherwise a very manageable path. The place that is secured with wire ropes is not narrow, but since the water runs across the path, they can be helpful to be able to hold on to, although it is also possible on the rock or not at all necessary if you are with the necessary caution runs. There are no narrow and really exposed areas.

  • The climb is more harmless than the name suggests. Even for average mountain hikers, the climb is easy, especially since some passages are insured with wire ropes.

  • In summer, the bad kick is really good for everyone to walk. If there are "leftovers" from the winter on the way, you should be more careful. is still possible!

  • It is not a difficult climb and much nicer than taking the gondola to cover the distance in 3 minutes. So bring enough time and enjoy the day.
