For a while, you will walk through the nature reserve Schnegaer Mühlenbachtal before passing a rest area and playground with barbecue facilities on the way to Bergen. Shortly thereafter, you will come to the water mill on Schnegaer Mühlengraben - a beautiful place overlooking the old mill wheel. This gravelly brook offers habitat for various types of trout. By sand Überfrachtung the fish stock went back unfortunately. Thus, more gravel was brought in here again and in the total area river sections were renatured and meanders were reconnected.

Beautiful half-timbered mill from 1817. It was built as an oil mill, and is today renovated, a feast for the eyes.

The watermill in Jiggel, with the Schnegaer Mühlenbach, is a wonderful photo opportunity. The mill is in very good condition and has a working mill wheel. Next to the mill there is a small wooden footbridge over which you can cross the Schnegaer Mühlenbach. The first watermill was built here around 500 years ago (the Mühlenhof has also been inhabited by the same family for around 500 years).
