The Warmsee or Darscho is a salt lake. The Warmsee is about two kilometers north of Apetlon, right next to the supply route to Frauenkirchen on the Lackenradweg B20. With its size of approx. 1000 by 500 meters, it is clear and is often used as an ice rink in winter. In spring, summer and autumn it serves as a breeding and resting place for the birds. This place has long since got around as a tip among ornithologists who observe the enchanting bird life with binoculars.
