The choir of the church was built at the end of the 13th century; it is the oldest part of the church. A few years later the sacristy was built. The church was consecrated in 2001 to Saint Bartholomew. During the Thirty Years War was damaged, but rebuilt. The nave was built at the end of the 15th century, probably also the chapel on the south side. The latter was replaced in 1878 by today's south portal. It served as a stairway to the galleries.
