The heart of the Liebenburg post mill, which was destroyed by arson in 2012, was set up in the old part of Lewe. From here you can also go on a hike to the former location in the Liebenburger Feldmark.
Built between 1840 and 1860 in Immenrode, it stood there on Mühlenweg from Weddingen to Immenrode and was then called "Schraders Windmühle". In 1889 a miller had it dismantled and moved to Liebenburg.
