Information
Its origins date back to around 1350. The clock bell, mounted on the outside of the tower and a defining feature of the Wernsdorf church, dates from 1643. A memorial to World War I stands in the cemetery.

The beginnings of the church date back to around 1350. At that time a small vaulted chapel was built and dedicated to the grandmother of Jesus, Saint Anne. The front part of the sanctuary (the area with the pointed windows) has been preserved from the small chapel of the time.
In the years 2007 to 2017 the Wernsdorf church was renovated and restored inside and out.
