Rifugio Scotter rises at an altitude of 1,580 meters above sea level, in an extraordinary panoramic position towards the San Vito di Cadore basin and Monte Pelmo, nestled between the Western Marmarole and the Sorapíss - Antelao group. Built in 1979 by Gianni Palatini and his son Ferruccio, it was run by the same family for 40 years; still today a part of the Palatini family continues the business. Modern and welcoming, it has comfortable rooms with two, three or four beds.

Its strategic location offers a wide choice of walks, itineraries and climbs for all tastes and degrees of difficulty, in the three beautiful surrounding Dolomite groups. It is open from May to October and from December to March (based on the opening of the ski lifts of the San Vito di Cadore ski area.
