St. Magdalena is a very old church, probably on a place used in prehistoric times, was sacrificed to the pagan gods. The first mention of a church dates back to 1394, but only the church tower survives.

The current building from 1492 belongs to the late gothic, as the asymmetrical net vault and the keystones show. The interior of the Magdalena Church is baroque.

From here on the paved road to the Magdalenaweg. After 200m, turn right and follow the Magdalena trail slightly uphill. On the left is a bank, from which you can enjoy a fantastic view of the church and the Geisler group.
