The Seechen is an almost round lake in the northwest of the better known Liepnitzsee. It is a residual water that was separated by siltation of a shallow water between the still existing at the end of the 19th century island Kleiner Werder and the Endmoränenwall.
From the north it is not open to the public.

From the north, the lake can be reached rather unofficially via a small wooden footbridge, which is accessible via a narrow footpath. It is located in the Oberseemoor nature reserve.

The mossy landscape at the fork in the road to Seechen See is bizarre.
