An artificially created passageway for the former mine railway. The Sieg Squirrel Trail also runs through this area. A beautiful, approximately 3 km circular trail about the life of squirrels, it's a great option before or after a visit to the Niederfischbach Zoo. It also starts at the zoo parking lot. Today we were on the Niederfischbach Mine Hiking Trail, which also runs along this route and also starts at the zoo.

A rock gap through which the Fischbacher Werk mine's railway once ran. Today, it's a lovely place to walk, as there's so much to discover. The Squirrel Trail and the Sieg Adventure Trail also run through here.
