    Hiking

    The old name for this cave was "Hob Hurst House" and was supposed to be home to a goblin. It was excavated in the 19th century and several artefacts of Roman origin were discovered, along with a bear skull!.

    Pack a torch and you can safely explore the back of the cave where a hard mud slope leads down into a large low chamber.

    The normal path is closed till 2026 so a trek along the edge was our favoured route,bit duct for the younger or faint hearted but most e joys le from my end
