Tips

The fare is worth the price. A beautiful little "steamer ride", where you can enjoy beautiful views directly from the water. The ferry goes from Schmöckwitz over to the "Kuhlen Wampe". For the bike ride you pay only 1.20 euros in addition - no broken leg and it's worth it!

Here you have to decide, if you come from Müggelheim. Either you drive on the north bank of the Dahme on to Wendenschloß or you use the BVG ferry to translate to Schmöckwitz to get to the southern shore to Grünau. Both have something. The ferry leaves every 30 minutes, always five minutes before half or full hour.

Anyone who has never driven this quiet electric ferry and experienced the deep-seated ship's captain has no idea how calm, considerate and emission-free the traffic of the future could become.
