@Mathias57 has explained everything that is important. All I can recommend is the sports and recreation park.

The grounds of today's sports and recreation park (SEP) served as a horse racing track from 1899 to 1945.
The first race took place on September 10, 1899. The racing club was founded in 1900 and held its first racing day. In 1906 there was already a large grandstand as well as a saddle and carriage hall and small, massive buildings. In 1912 the racetrack received a large compact stand made of iron and stone. The "Waldbahn" managed to be an attraction for the city for 30 years.
During World War II, the Wehrmacht used the site and in 1939 set up a "home horse park". After the war, the facility remained unused until the sports school of the Army Sports Club (ASK) was established there. Almost all the buildings were demolished. The last thing that was leveled in 1995 was the target tower and in return new buildings and various sports facilities were created. Many of the older buildings date from this period.
From the year 2000, new, well-kept sports facilities were created, from the athletics facility to the racket center and climbing forest. There is a wide variety of leisure activities and, if necessary, overnight accommodation. Not only the park canteen takes care of the physical well-being of the visitors. The former racetrack has turned into a "sports and recreation park" and is used again by the citizens for activities.
