Nieuw Wulven is a varied forest and recreation area. In the forest you will find a variety of trees, plants and animals. Spot your favorite bird or keep your eyes peeled for a deer. This forest is not only a great destination for nature lovers, but also for history buffs among us. The forest is located on a piece of land that used to belong to the Romans and several excavations have been done. One of those finds was a Roman mask, hence the artwork you see at the entrance to the forest.
