Onny Meadows lies on the outskirts of Craven Arms and offers peaceful hiking right from the town centre. Near the entrance of the meadows is the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. Here you'll find a cafe packed with homemade snacks and drinks as well as an exhibition and shop. The centre runs cookery lessons too.

In the exhibition, you'll be able to see a full size replica of a mammoth skeleton. Found near Shrewsbury, this gives you an idea of just how far back the local history goes.
