Best Hikes to St Mary's Church, Hopesay
Tips

Beautiful little church with very friendly and amicable residents in the rectory. I have a big van and asked their permission to park there so I could hike Burrow. No problem and had a good chat with them after.

  • This lovely Grade I-listed Anglican church lies in the pretty Shropshire village of Hopesay. Built at the beginning of the 13th century, a notable addition is the tower's 17th-century pyramidal roof. Both its age and slightly unusual architecture make it a lovely stop off on hikes in the area. The Shropshire Way long-distance footpath goes right past the church.
