Hiking

Nettersheim is the seat of the Rhineland Wood Competence Center. Appropriately, this bridge was developed in 2014 as a wooden construction with an asymmetrical supporting structure and rests on two steel support structures, which also accommodate the stairways. At the western end of the bridge there is a viewing area that offers a view of the meadows and hills. The bridge is 29.52 meters long and 3 meters wide. Nice small train station. Enough space to take a break. From there you can hike or cycle on paved/asphalted paths to the lime kilns and the Roman sites and excavations. The station is also located right in the village. Supplies are available in Nettersheim.
