K + S wants to cover the mountain by 2040, greening, widening and increasing by almost 20 meters; An application to the State Office for Mining is being prepared. The chemical company from Kassel has announced 100 to 400 truck journeys a day to the citizens of neighboring villages - for around 20 years! A large part of the cover should consist of rubble, which is loaded with heavy metals such as lead and mercury and other substances of concern.
