A replica charcoal kiln in the middle of the forest – once vital for iron production and crafts. The informative panel explains its structure and function: wood, straw, and earth – layered to form a smoldering kiln.
This "teaching kiln" was built by students from the Rehlingen secondary school in collaboration with the Maltiz environmental association.
