Torre d'Agera, an ancient defensive structure, in the homonymous district in the countryside of Bitonto, immersed in the green Mediterranean scrub, dates back to around the fifteenth century. With a quadrangular plan, developed on two levels, it stood on an ancient oil mill and was enclosed in a large enclosure, which delimited a delightful pometo. It belonged to the noble Agera family, which rose to the honors of the civil and economic life of the city in the 16th century.
