At the edge of the Palo del Colle area, a hundred meters from the border with Palombaio, stands Villa Pannone-Ferrara, an aristocratic mansion built at the beginning of the 20th century, when the area was mainly suited to growing grapes. Announced by a row of very tall trees that give the structure elegance and coolness, it overlooks the road and dominates a vast plain. It is protected by a wrought iron gate, which opens in the central part to the entrance gate, guarded by two stone columns, surmounted by two artistic stone pine cones.

The architectural complex, in international Art Nouveau style, refers to the model of an ancient Roman villa rustica. It essentially consists of two distinct parts connected by an artistic central portico consisting of five arches, which leads into a large internal space, in the center of which a very tall palm tree dominates. The part on the right, on one level only, is the area intended for the farmer and his family, the stable and the cellar. If the entrance to the ancient stable is surmounted by an artistic horse's head, the front of the cellar is decorated with sculptural elements of dancing cherubs that refer to the mythology of Bacchus. To embellish the façade of this part, sculptures representing villagers in characteristic nineteenth-century clothes dominate from the top of the building.
