Cala Grande, known as "Valley of the Moon" since the 1960s thanks to the hippy community that settled there, is a valley that slopes gently down to the sea, nestled between two granite ridges. Here there are wonderful coves with turquoise waters that contrast with the golden colors of the rocks and the green of the Mediterranean scrub.

This 500 meter expanse received its nickname for a very specific reason. Walking through this fascinating landscape, you may feel like you're on another planet. But the experience is deeply earthly and will give you incredible moments.

The Valle della Luna, or the "Valley of the Moon", is named after a reason. As you walk through this fascinating landscape, you may feel as if you have landed on another planet. But rest assured, the experience is absolutely earthly and will give you unforgettable moments.

From the very beginning, it is clear that this tour is a real adventure. The path through the impressive rock formations is not always easy to find, and climbing over the rocks is the order of the day. But that is precisely what makes it so appealing! During your tour, you will notice that there are no markings. But don't worry: as a friendly hiker once told me, "you always find a way". And so will you. Between the many paths that wind through the valley, you will always find your way.

Along the way, you may come across inhabitants in stone or rock caves. It was a surprising encounter during my visit, but the friendly faces and relaxed conversations quickly made it clear: harmony reigns here.

The highlight of the hike is the hidden bay, which you reach after passing through the Valle della Luna. A tip: the descent behind the lighthouse can be treacherous and is quite steep. Some found it challenging, but with the necessary caution and patience it can be managed.

After an exciting day, perhaps a dip in the cool water and lots of new impressions, you will make your way home with tired legs but a smile on your face. The Valle della Luna is a unique experience - wild, untamed and absolutely recommended.

We were this tour today and it was fantastic! However, we have predicted homeless people in rock pools (near the stake) and that scared me a little! (But were very friendly and nice) so do not be afraid! The tour is awesome! 👍🔝
