The church, built from 1952 to 1957, was built with and on the ruins of the 16th century church destroyed during the fighting of August 16, 1944.
Its western facade features sculptures by Jean Lambert-Rucki, including the Last Supper and the Passion of Christ.
An entire wall is made up of glass slabs by Gabriel Loire, whose workshop is located in this town.
It has been listed as a historical monument since 2002.
