Tips
Dorstone may well be one of the most ancient settlements in Herefordshire. To the north of the village is Arthur's Stone, a chamber tomb originating from between 3700 and 2700 BC, making it Herefordshire's oldest human structure.
The village is the site of a former motte-and-bailey castle, now all but gone. It is an excellent area for hillwalking, with various trails that explore the Golden Valley's rolling countryside. The Pandy Inn is a walker-friendly pub that serves great food and offers accommodation.February 4, 2021
