Wonderfull Mountain View

This is a striking natural feature nestled within the Peak District's picturesque countryside. It's a clear, well-maintained path up to the rock which is ideal for famillies.

This area was once used for open cast mining, the history of which is detailed on the on-site information plaque. I am presuming the area was converted to a lake when the site was converted to a Country Park.

Best not wear your best shoes going down there, it does get a bit muddy especially after some rain....
