A fairly down-to-earth pub with a history as a mill… can be recommended

A beautiful rustic-looking mill complex. At low tide you can cross the Ohm on stepping stones.

The Hainmühle was originally located on an old Ohmfurt.
In 1502 a "peder Heynmoller" is mentioned, which takes its name from the mill.
In the 18th century, a water wheel was used for a "women's bath" in addition to the millet mill and Schrotgang.
In 1774, in an official complaint, the Hainmüller were described as rough and rough. They would harass the women, so that they always have to be afraid of "losing their coat".
The mill has been owned by the Arnold family, who come from Adorf near Waldeck, since 1909. 2 turbines now generate electricity for the public grid.
The main building has been used as a restaurant since 1970.
