In 1948, the Adelshausen stop was built with the help of local residents in the immediate vicinity of the railway bridge over the Berlin-Coblenzer Railway, better known as the "Kanonenbahn". But as early as 1974, only 26 years later, passenger traffic on the route was stopped again and the waiting building was demolished amid violent protests from the aristocratic population. The embankment, the former platform and the gravel bed of the Kanonenbahn route are almost completely overgrown today. Nature is regaining its place.
