A hiking trail with a few changes of direction leads along the mountainside to or from the Ödenturm. The serpentines mean that the path is not too steep and pleasant to walk. There is also a bench at about every third bend where you can take a short breather and gather new strength.
When the leaves are gone, the Ödenturm, the Helfenstein castle ruins or Geislingen can be seen again and again along the path.
