A beautifully restored wooden post mill in Lembeke. The current mill was built around 1780-1785, reusing many beams from the old mill. The mill has always been in operation and is well maintained. During the Second World War, the resistance used the Westermolen as a location from which messages were sent to England. The mill was left standing in memory of a fallen resistance fighter, who belonged to the d’Alcantara family, the then owners of the mill.
