Teplitzer Hut (Rifugio Vedretta Pendente)

The Teplitzer Hütte is located south of the Hangging Ferner on a shoulder of the terrain with a fantastic view. The easiest approach leads from the mine museum at the end of the valley from the Ridnaun valley along the Fernerbach to the Aglsboden natural monument with the rustic Aglsbodenalm. Over a step up to the Upper Aglsfalls and through the deeply cut Egatal to the Grohmannhütte, which is located on a pulpit below the Teplitzer Hütte. On the way back, shortly after the Aglsboden, we recommend the return hike through the Burkhard Gorge as a welcome change.
